Data we collect
The site has no accounts and asks for nothing. A small script records anonymous usage: which page loaded, the referring page, scroll depth, any click on an app button with its position on the page, browser language, operating system, and a random identifier kept in your browser to tell first visits from return visits. Your IP address is used for an approximate location only and is not retained in full. The format you select in the comparison is not recorded.
Purpose and processor
We use this to understand how the guide is read and to improve it. The data passes through this site's server to an analytics provider that keeps it in the European Union. It is not sold and not shared for advertising.
Browser storage
No cookies. Your browser stores the random identifier, a session value that expires after 30 idle minutes, your theme choice and whether you dismissed the bottom app bar. Deleting this site's data in your browser clears them; with a tracker blocker the guide works unchanged.
App store links
App buttons lead to /app-test on this domain, which reads your browser's user agent. Android goes to the Confidently page on Google Play with the button position passed as a referrer; all other devices go to the App Store. That step stores nothing. After the redirect, Apple's or Google's terms and the app's own privacy policy apply.
Deletion
Ask by email and we will delete events linked to your identifier. Because we hold no name or contact detail, clearing this site's storage removes the link on your side straight away.
